kylie & david: black and white simplicity

Despite the summer heat in Austin, Texas, Kylie and David’s wedding day was nothing short of extraordinary, filled with love, laughter, and personal touches that made it uniquely theirs. Surrounded by loved ones (and their two adorable pups), these two celebrated their love with a day that was equal parts elegant and personal. From the thoughtful ceremony details to a lively reception full of unforgettable moments, Kylie and David’s wedding was a true reflection of their story.

attire: serving classic and stunning looks

The floral design throughout the day was understated yet striking. Bridesmaids carried charming bouquets of baby's breath tied with long white ribbons, a whimsical complement to their sage green satin dresses. The groomsmen’s boutonnieres featured white roses accented with sprigs of baby's breath, echoing the simplicity of the bridesmaids' bouquets.

Kylie’s bouquet was a showstopper, featuring a lush arrangement of white roses, hydrangeas, and lisianthus, with soft greenery woven throughout. It perfectly complemented her romantic strapless ballgown, which sparkled subtly in the sunlight. David looked every bit the classic groom in a sleek black tuxedo with a boutonniere that matched the day’s floral palette.

before the ceremony: champagne and tiny tuxedos

The morning of Kylie and David’s wedding was filled with excitement and joy. Kylie and her bridesmaids gathered in a cozy hotel suite, sipping champagne and sharing laughter as they prepared for the big day. Kylie’s two dogs joined in the fun, dressed in tiny tuxedos that added an extra dose of charm to the morning. The bridesmaids wore matching robes, creating a cohesive and picture-perfect look, while Kylie stood out in a robe of a different color, making her the undeniable star of the moment.

PRO TIP: Make sure you have a breakfast plan for the day of your wedding! Whether that's assigning someone from your wedding party to pick up an order on the way to the venue or splurging on a large delivery. Trust me, it's a long time to go between hair and makeup and reception dinner. "Hangry" is the last thing you want to be on your wedding day!

One of the most memorable moments of the morning was Kylie and David’s first look. Meeting on the hotel’s outdoor patio, surrounded by greenery, their emotions were on full display during this intimate and heartfelt moment. Afterward, they took portraits together both on the patio and in the stylish hotel lobby, capturing the love and excitement they felt as they prepared to walk down the aisle.

the ceremony: full of cheers (and a few tail wags)

Kylie and David’s ceremony was the perfect blend of timeless elegance and heartfelt moments. Set against the modern, industrial backdrop of a chic Austin venue, the couple said their vows beneath a sleek white arch with lush white flowers at the base. Rows of wooden chairs framed the aisle, which was lined with lush floral arrangements of white roses, hydrangeas, and baby's breath—a classic design that felt fresh and inviting.

Kylie made her grand entrance down a staircase adorned with cascading greenery and baby's breath, a dramatic and breathtaking moment that had everyone in awe.

But the sweetest touch? Their two dogs stole the show as honorary ring bearers, strutting down the aisle in tiny tuxedos. It was a moment that had every guest smiling (and snapping photos). To keep everyone comfortable on this warm June day, Kylie and David provided beautifully designed fans—a thoughtful detail that was both aesthetic and practical.

PRO TIP: If you are planning to involve your pups in your wedding day, consider hiring a pet attendant. They will handle feedings and potty walks throughout the day and even help keep them focused during photos.

cocktail hour: all is fair in love and cornhole

After the ceremony, guests were guided to the hotel’s stylish lobby bar for cocktail hour. The space’s modern design, complete with plush seating and warm lighting, created a welcoming atmosphere for mingling. Adding a unique touch, a mirrored seating chart was used in lieu of the typical poster board, doubling as a decor statement—simple, chic, and perfectly on theme.

One of the biggest hits of cocktail hour was the custom acrylic bar menu featuring playful illustrations of their dogs. Signature cocktails named after their furry friends brought a smile to everyone’s faces, with drinks like “The Ryder” and “The Remy” becoming instant favorites.

Instead of a traditional guestbook, Kylie and David opted for custom cornhole boards, encouraging guests to sign them with sweet messages. It was a fun, interactive detail that reflected their playful personalities and love for the game.

the reception: from formal and heartfelt to glowsticks and breakdancing

The reception took place inside the hotel’s ballroom, where the decor struck a perfect balance between elegant and cozy. Tables were dressed with white linens and accented with centerpieces featuring white roses, lisianthus, and baby's breath. Tall glass pillar candles added a soft, romantic glow to the room. The sweetheart table was a standout, featuring cascading florals repurposed from the ceremony space, seamlessly tying together the design and creating a cohesive look throughout the day.

After dinner, toasts, and formal dances, the couple snuck away for a quick outfit change. Kylie reemerged in a short white dress with sparkling crystal straps. Paired with glittery sneakers, her new look was playful, modern, and perfect for dancing the night away.

With glow sticks in hand, guests hit the dance floor, ready to celebrate. The energy was electric as the DJ spun Kylie and David’s favorite tunes, and it didn’t take long for the party to reach full swing. David stole the spotlight with an impromptu breakdancing performance, earning cheers and laughter from the crowd.

To cap off the evening, Kylie and David shared a private moment outdoors, holding sparklers under a canopy of twinkling lights. It was a magical ending to a day filled with love, laughter, and memories they’ll cherish forever.

Kylie and David’s wedding was a testament to the beauty of blending timeless elegance with personal, meaningful details. From the adorable ring-bearing pups to the glow stick dance party, every moment was a reflection of their unique story and the love they share.
